Shirley Dois Leach, 83, of Fulton, Kentucky formerly of Ohio County; passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born June 27, 1938, in Grayson County to the late Clarence Smith and Essie Pharris Smith. Mrs. Leach worked for Commonwealth Community Bank where she retired after twenty-seven years from the Centertown branch as the manager.
Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Henry Nelson Leach on November 16, 2014; four brothers, Clarence, Jr., Edward, Jimmy and Billy Joe Smith and one sister, Pearlie Baggarly.
Mrs. Leach leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Debbie Leach and Susan (Henry) Tezky both of Fulton; two grandchildren, Aaron and Sarah and two sisters, Betty (Wendell) Embry of Caneyville and Cora Mae “Doll” (Everett) Dockery of Hartford.
Private funeral services were held Sunday, October 10, 2021, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial was beside her husband in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
