Thomas Smith Obituary

Thomas J. Smith, 66, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born April 4, 1955, in Harlan, Kentucky to the late John and Betsy Cavins Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired farmer.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Miracle Irene Smith; two brothers, J.C. Smith and Frankie Smith, and two sisters, Lou Farris and Faye Daugherty.

Survivors include, one daughter, Crystal Embry of Beaver Dam; two stepsons, Roger Pharris of Morgantown, and Wayne Pharris of Centertown; four grandchildren, Bobby Embry, Maddalin Lear, Maggie Lear, and TJ Smith, Jr.; six step grandchildren, Thomas Pharris, Emily Pharris, Payton Pharris, Heather Pharris, Roger Pharris, Jr., and Ransom Pharris; several great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Cathleen McClain of McHenry, Sue Middleton of McHenry and Beatrice Farris of Echols.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky has been entrusted with arrangements.
