Timothy "Tim" Lloyd Farris

Timothy “Tim” Lloyd Farris, 61, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was born May 3, 1960 in Hartford, Kentucky to the late Rosco “Curley” and Shirley Growbarger Farris. Tim was a coal miner, loved his family, riding his motorcycle and fishing.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by son, Timothy L. Farris, II, three brothers, Larry, Michael and Stanley Farris and one nephew, Dennis Farris, Jr.

He leaves behind to treasure many memories, his wife of 36 years, Vicky Farris of Beaver Dam; son, Tyler (Brittini) Farris of Beaver Dam; daughter at heart, Elaineia (Ronnie) Sailing of Horse Branch; three granddaughters, Avery Farris, Elysia and Elyjah Sailing; two brothers, Dennis (Debbie) Farris of Centertown and Jerry (Elaine) Farris of Beaver Dam; sister, Shelia Farris of Beaver Dam; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Bandit.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 3, 2021 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Betty Shaver officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Tim’s family from 10 AM until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
