WL "Sonny" Renfrow, Jr

It is with immense sadness that the family of W.L. “Sonny” Renfrow Jr., loving son, uncle, family member, and friend, announce his passing on December 9, 2024. Sonny was born on April 12, 1977 to Barbara (Bratcher) Renfrow and W.L. Renfrow Sr.

He was raised in Horse Branch, KY alongside his sister Tracy (Bobby) Bivins. He was incredibly proud of his two nieces, Shelby Renfrow and Tiarra (Lucas) Basham. He was preceded in death by his mother.

You could find Sonny tearing up the roads of Horse Branch on his motorcycle. More than anything he loved visiting his friends (which included half of the town) and was always out socializing with someone. Sonny will be remembered for the infectious laughter that followed his constant jokes and how strongly he loved those whom he cared about. He will live in our memories as forever young.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 13, 2024 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Jason Bratcher officiating. Burial will follow in Boyd Cemetery in Horse Branch. Friends may visit with Sonny’s family from 10 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
