Wade Rowe, 92, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Ohio County Healthcare. He was born Sunday, December 20, 1931, in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Urey Rowe and Amanda Wade Rowe. Wade was a faithful member of Independence Baptist Church his entire life. He served the community as owner and operator of Wade Rowe Construction. Wade served in the United States Air Force.
Aside from his parents Wade was preceded in death by all nine of his siblings, Mary Rowe, Archie Rowe, Lois Rowe, Bonnie Payton, Hazel Stevens, Verna Hurchick, Roy Rowe, James Rowe, and Doris Martin.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of sixty-five years, Camilla June Gatewood Rowe of Beaver Dam, five children, Mark (Petice) Rowe of Bowling Green, Rena Rowe of Parker, Colorado, Camilla (Ryan) Leigh of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Patrick (Annette) Rowe of Beaver Dam, and Leah Rowe of Phoenix, Arizona; five grandchildren, Jared Wooldridge, Elise Wooldridge, Thomas Rowe, Douglas (Ryley) Rowe, and Katherine Rowe, and three great grandchildren, Archie Rowe, Willis Rowe, Amos Rowe, and Truett Rowe due in October as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11 AM – 2 PM Sunday, August 25, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Following visitation, a graveside service will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery with Pastor Thad Gunderson officiating.
The family would like to say a special “thank you” to Ohio County Healthcare and Hospice of Ohio County for the excellent care Wade received.
