Wayne Martin

Wayne Martin, 72, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 25, 1953, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Hubert and Margie Huff Martin. Wayne worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and retired from Peabody Coal Company. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wayne leaves behind to cherish many precious memories, his wife of 36 years, Susan Martin of Hartford; his children, Travis (Kayley) Martin of Hartford and Katie (Charley) Nolte of Beaver Dam and one sister, Pam Ruggirello of West Bloomfield, Michigan. He was blessed with two grandchildren, Macie Kate Snyder and Ashby Wayne Snyder.

Family visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford.
