Donald E. “Duck” Givens, 71 of McHenry, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at his home. He was born December 8, 1946 in Echols to the late Willie and Ammie Scott Geary. Mr. Givens worked in maintenance for the Ohio County Board of Education.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tim Goff. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Juanita Moseley Givens of McHenry; two sons, Donald (Tiffany) Givens of Beaver Dam and Keith Goff of Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Jim Hohimer officiating. Burial will follow in Render Memorial Cemetery in McHenry. Friends may visit with Mr. Givens' family from 4-8 P.M. Monday and from 9 A.M. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
