Katherine McDaniel Hohimer

Katherine McDaniel Hohimer, 90, of Rosine, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at Morgantown Care & Rehab Center in Morgantown, Kentucky. She was born September 17, 1925 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Arthur McDaniel and Alice Marie Craig McDaniel. Ms. Hohimer was a homemaker and a member of Rosine Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include two sons, James Edward “Eddie” (Brenda) Hohimer of Olaton and Keith (Sandy) Hohimer of Centertown; two daughters, Shirley Jean Griffin of Rosine and Tina Marie (Joe) Lamar of Cromwell; five grandchildren, Lynnann (Darin) Green, Tiffany Hohimer, Kyle Hohimer, Jennifer (Michael) Huff and Brandon (Lou) Hohimer; five great-grandchildren and one on the way, D.J. Green, Seth Green, Gunner Huff, Braxton Hohimer and Brayden Hohimer; two sisters, Mandy Pilkington of Louisville and Betty Jean Culver of Bardstown and the staff at Morgantown Care & Rehab Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 8, 2016 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Terry Tarrance officiating. Burial will follow in Rosine Cemetery in Rosine, Kentucky. Visitation will from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
