Barbara Ann Wright, 74, of Hartford, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 13, 2017, at her residence. She was born August 8, 1942 in Beaver Dam, Kentucky to the late Avery and Lorene Heflin Hill. Mrs. Wright was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth H. Wright; and three sisters, Billie Jean Leisure, Patsy Ruth Haven, and Judy Southard.
Survivors include one daughter, Kim (Tom) Sowders of Owensboro; one grandson, Hank (Stormy) Sowders of Owensboro; two brothers, Avery Glenn Hill of Lexington and Charles (Janet) Hill of Paducah and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, February 16, 2017, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Charles Brownd officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mrs. Wright’s family from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
