Mary Evelyn (Hines) Phelps

Mary Evelyn Phelps, 86, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Ohio County Hospital. She was born May 30, 1931 in Cool Springs, Kentucky to the late Orville and Maude Shepherd Hines. Mrs. Phelps was a homemaker and member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, H.V. Phelps; one brother, Theron Hines and two sisters, Dorothy Mae Royal and Alma Jewell Phelps.

Survivors include two sons, Greg Phelps of White Plains, Kentucky and Alan (Peggy) Phelps of Lusby, Maryland; one granddaughter, Katrina Marie (Drew) Sims of Knoxville, Tennessee; three grandsons, Donald Allen of Lusby, Maryland, Christopher Allen and Brian (Christina) both of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one great-granddaughter, Carly Ann Allen, and numerous nephews and nieces .

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 28, 2017 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Jerry Alexander and Rev. Gary Hines officiating. Burial will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Mrs. Phelps Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral Thursday at the funeral home.
